not a spoiler he was heading towards the moon with his ship in the last ep of that arc. There just was not a big enough of a scene for anyone to care about.

Yeah is on the covers of some of the chapters in the manga. I saw this in a post of r/onepiece in reddit that shows you the order of chapters and it also gives the correct cover stories of many arcs which I believe are all cannon. There is even a Hatchi, Alabasta, CP9 and Ace ones (they are chilled stories though).
